The Cottle columella forceps hold the columella steady during rhinoplasty. Smooth roller tips and an adjustment screw let you set exactly how firmly they hold.
Because the rollers spread pressure, they grip without crushing delicate nasal tissue. In addition, the screw keeps the setting, so you work hands-free on the tip. Surgeons use them in open rhinoplasty, septoplasty and nasal reconstruction.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the forceps soon after each use. First, soak them in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the tips gently with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry them fully. Finally, autoclave them with your standard hospital steam cycle. Also, open the screw fully before cleaning, so no debris stays in the thread.
