Our Cottle cartilage crusher softens septal cartilage so you can bend and shape it. Its smooth 15mm wide plates press the cartilage evenly.

First, you place the cartilage between the plates. Then you tap the plunger to crush it to the softness you need. Because the plates are smooth, the cartilage stays in one piece. As a result, it suits camouflage and spreader grafts.

Cleaning and Sterilization

Clean the crusher soon after each use. First, take it apart and soak the parts in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the plates and plunger with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry every part fully. Finally, reassemble it and autoclave it with your standard steam cycle.
