Our wire cutting scissors cut fine surgical wire cleanly without damaging the blades.
They are 12cm (4-3/4″) long, with angled tungsten carbide edges. Because carbide is very hard, the edges stay sharp after many wire cuts. As a result, they suit theatres, wards and clinics.

- Tungsten carbide edges: stay sharp much longer than plain steel.
- Angled blades: reach wire ends easily.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the scissors soon after each use. First, open them and soak them in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the blades and joint with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry them fully. Finally, autoclave them in the open position. Also, protect the tips, because fine points dull if they knock other steel.
