Our curved Metzenbaum scissors dissect delicate tissue with long, slim curved blades.
You can choose SuperCut, tungsten carbide or both, in 5-3/4″, 7″, 8″, 9″ or 10.23″. Because the blades are slim, they keep tissue in view. As a result, they suit plastic, reconstructive and general surgery.
Curved Metzenbaum scissors Features
- Tungsten carbide edges: stay sharp much longer than plain steel.
- SuperCut blade: one razor edge and one fine-serrated edge stop tissue slipping.
- Five lengths: 5-3/4″ to 10.23″.
- Gold rings: mark it as a tungsten carbide instrument.
- Surgical stainless steel: resists corrosion through many autoclave cycles.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the scissors soon after each use. First, open them and soak them in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the blades and joint with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry them fully. Finally, autoclave them in the open position. Also, protect the tips, because fine points dull if they knock other steel.

We supply them non-sterile, so sterilize them before first use. In addition, a 3-month warranty covers material and manufacturing defects.
