The fiber optic Aufricht retractor lifts the nasal skin and lights the dorsum at the same time. It is 8″ (203mm) long with a 7mm solid blade.
Because the light runs through the blade, it shines straight under the skin envelope. As a result, you get a bright, shadow-free view during rhinoplasty. Also, it works with standard fiber optic light sources.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the instrument soon after each case. First, soak it in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the blade and wipe both ends of the light guide. After that, rinse and dry it fully. Finally, autoclave it with your standard steam cycle. Also, check the light output before each case.
