The Castroviejo caliper measures tiny distances from 0 to 20mm. Its fine pointed tips and screw adjustment give you millimetre accuracy.
Surgeons use it in eyelid, nasal and facial surgery, and in microsurgery. For example, it helps you plan blepharoplasty skin excision or check nasal tip measurements. Also, the screw holds the setting, so you can transfer it to the other side.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the instrument soon after each use. First, soak it in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush it gently with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry it fully. Finally, autoclave it with your standard hospital steam cycle. Also, avoid abrasive pads, because they can wear down the engraved scale.
