The Freeman face lift retractor holds the facial flap open during rhytidectomy. It is 7″ (178mm) long, with four sharp prongs.

You can choose offset or in-line prongs, in 22mm or 36mm widths. For example, offset prongs keep your hand out of the line of sight. As a result, the flap stays open while you dissect.

Cleaning and Sterilization

Clean the instrument soon after each use. First, soak it in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the prongs or blade gently with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry it fully. Finally, autoclave it with your standard hospital steam cycle. Also, store it with tip guards, because sharp prongs bend and dull easily.
