The Saldanha abdominal retractor lifts the abdominal flap widely during abdominoplasty. It is 23.5cm long, with a broad 155 x 60mm blade.
You can choose 4 or 8 prongs on the blade edge. In addition, a fiber optic tube option lights the tunnel up to the ribs. As a result, you see clearly while you dissect under the flap.

Clean the instrument soon after each use. First, soak it in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush the prongs or blade gently with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry it fully. Finally, autoclave it with your standard hospital steam cycle. Also, wipe the fiber optic tube ends before each case, if fitted.
