The Epstein breast retractor has a spatulated blade with fine teeth for a secure tissue grip. It comes in four blade lengths, all 27mm wide.
Because the teeth hold tissue firmly, the blade does not slip during dissection. As a result, you keep steady exposure while you shape the implant pocket. Surgeons use it in breast augmentation, mastopexy and reconstruction.

Cleaning and Sterilization
Clean the instrument soon after each case. First, soak it in a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner. Then brush it gently with a soft nylon brush. After that, rinse and dry it fully. Finally, autoclave it with your standard hospital steam cycle. Also, brush between the teeth carefully, since tissue can collect there.
